Mastaba is a haunting portrait of two women whose fates are intertwined, inseparable. Like angels, serene and beautiful, they discover one another and a diary full of secrets. Working with poetry, dance, masks, photographic landscapes, video, and music, we explored the delicate and fragile balance between life and death. This piece is inspired by Anne Sexton’s poem “Live”.
